YOUTH BOYS

From under 13s, your child will play competitive football for premierships on a larger size field (*note U13s will be a maximum field size of 150m). 

Competitions are structured by Divisions – Division 1 being the top level in the age group.  The number of divisions depends on the number of teams submitted by clubs.

Under 13
Born between 1 July 2012 and 30 June 2014

Training Times:
Pre Season:
Tuesdays and Thursdays 4:15 to 5:30pm at St Vincents starting 3 Feb

In Season
Tuesdays 4:15 to 5:15pm at Alan Nielsen Ovals
Thursdays 4pm to 5pm at Club Oval (with some usage of Merrimac High also)

Fees
Registration Fees: $420 + uniforms

Under 15

Born between 1 July 2010 and 30 June 2012

Training Times:
Pre Season:
Tuesdays and Thursdays 4pm to 515pm at Merrimac High starting 3 Feb

In Season
Tuesdays 5:30 to 6:30pm at Alan Nielsen Ovals
Thursdays 5pm to 6pm at Club Oval

Fees
Registration Fees: $470 + uniforms

Under 17

Born between 1 July 2008 and 30 June 2010

Training Times:
Pre Season:
Tuesdays and Thursdays 4:30pm to 6pm at Merrimac High starting 6 Jan

In Season
Tuesdays 4:30 to 5:45pm at Club Oval
Thursdays 5pm to 6:30pm at Alan Nielsen Ovals

Fees
Registration Fees: $470 + uniforms

Competition will start in Term 2, with fixtures announced in April 2026

Games are generally on Sundays with the possibility of some Friday Night games

Required uniforms are – reversible shorts, socks, polo shirt – $105 for all 3 items.  Uniforms can be purchased online or at Uniform Shop when open.

Registration fees cover insurance, club and AFL registration, a trophy or medal at Presentation day, and a whole lot of fun throughout the season!
