JUNIOR GIRLS
At the Cats we have three age groups for the Junior Girls programs:
GIRLS UNDER 8s
Born between July 2017 and June 2019
In Under 8s, girls will be introduced to the game through small-field, 9 a side matches, with minimal contact (no tackling).
To play Under 8 Girls, players must be aged born between 1 July 2017 and 30 June 2019).
TRAINING TIMES
U8 Girls train Wednesdays 4pm – 5pm starting 4th March at the Club Oval
GIRLS UNDER 9s
Born between July 2016 and June 2017
In Under 9s, girls will play small-field, 9 a side matches, with minimal contact (tacking method is bear-hug, not to be brought to ground).
To play Under 9 Girls, players must be aged born between 1 July 2016 and 30 June 2017).

U9 Girls train Wednesdays 4pm – 5pm starting 4th March at the Club Oval
GIRLS UNDER 10/11s
Born between July 2014 and June 2016
Under 11s combines U10s and U11s. Girls are introduced to rules which align with what they will play in Youth football. Proper game play is taught, and games are competitive however there are no ladders or finals.
To play Under 11 Girls, players must be aged born between 1 July 2014 and 30 June 2016.

Registration Fees for 2026: $315
All registrations costs cover insurance, club and AFL registration, a trophy or medal at Presentation day, and a whole lot of fun throughout the season!
