GIRLS UNDER 8 AND 9

In Under 8s and Under 9s, girls will be introduced to the game through small-field, 9 a side matches, with minimal contact (tackling is a bear-hug, not to be brought to ground).  

To play Under 8 or Under 9 Girls, players must be aged born between 1 July 2015 and 30 June 2018).

Please note, Under 8 girls is a new competition, and will only get off the ground if there are sufficient number of teams.  Otherwise, Under 8 age girls will play in the Under 9 competition.

GIRLS UNDER 11

In Under 11s (which includes both U10 and U11s), girls are introduced to rules which closer align with what they will play in Youth football.  Proper game play technique is taught, and games are competitive – however there are no ladders or finals.

To play Under 11 Girls, players must be aged born between 1 July 2013 and 30 June 2015.
