Undefeated morningside awaited us on Saturday certainly a very hard task for our young cats and with the final score around thirteen goals to there advantage people could be forgiven thinking we were totally uncompetitive.

I feel this was not the case ,certainly our skill level and disposal at times was a disgrace but there was still positives to come out of the game. Our second half of 4 goals to there 7 was a vast improvement on the first.

The 4 qrt efforts of tippet, killey,Wilson, ward,Sutherland was pleasing also backed up by jones and Hopkins who didn't give up but alas it was to little by to many.so we look forward to southport this week and the challenges that lay ahead see you all at training Rob.

A historic day for our football club with the opening of our new amenities coupled with all three grades playing our arch enemy southport the day promised to be a cracker.
Our reserve grade side had come off a very lack luster 16 pt victory over Labrador and faced an opposition side that had crushed its first two opponents.
The game was played at a very even keel for the first half with both sides showing glimpses of good play sprinkled with basic mistakes you so often see early in the season southport led by a goal at the major break but there was certainly no panic in our camp and I felt the boys were confident they could compete with southport right to the end.
Our second half was very good disciplined football and we controlled a greater period of play than southport and if not for a few squandered shots on goal the margin would have been greater.
A good team effort with no passengers highlighted by the efforts of josh clark, nick burton, nick scott and jake jones.
Look forward to the challenge this week - Coach Rob
