Brad Wilson

Brad comes from a pretty good management stable which includes 15 AFL players. A talented mid-fielder with excellent skills, toughness and speed. He has lead West Gambier to premierships in both the 2010 and 2011 seasons. In 2011 he was selected to the VCFL Representative team where he was awarded the Bob Templeton Medal for Best on Ground.  Kicked 79 sausage rolls in 2011 and was selected as an on-baller in the WBFL Team of the Year with huge wrap:  "...arguably the league's most stylish footballer....Couldn't possibly be overlooked for this team."

Brad's pedigree includes:

  • 2011 - VCFL - Bob Templeton Medal
  • 2011 - West Gambier (Premiers)
  • 2010 - West Gambier (Premiers) see below
  • 2010 - West Gambier Best and Fairest
  • 2010 - VCFL WorkSafe Medal Best on Ground against Geelong Districts
  • 2009 Under 18 B&F West Gambier
  • 2008 West Adelaide (The Bloods - can't be all bad)

Standing at 184 cm Brad also fancies a game of basketball where he defied his height to play in a winning SEABL Championship team and was a S.A. Country Representative at the National Championships.

Strangely nicknamed Braddo or Willo, his AFL allegiance is with the Gold Coast Kangaroos/North Melbourne/Tassy Roos/Ballarat Roos and spends most of his spare time catching crays somewhere off the coast which is strange given he reeks of turnips.
