Brayde Palmer

Brades arrived from Mudgee/Carrara to test himself after winning both club and competition B&F in 2013. He passed and with flying colours - played a full complement and finished third to Josh Searl in the B&F.

An unassuming young man, he displays great maturity on the deck and can take treatment from dastardly opposition, while quietly gaining ascendancy in ruck duels and around the ground marking. Not the greatest kick, although sometimes he surprises, Brayde is a Gary Dempsey lookalike in the mark and handball stakes.Brayde played all 19 senior games in 2015.

A very important player for the Cats, if we are to get first use of the ball. Can play in pain.
A designated kicker on the lines when he is not resting in the interchange area is a useful strategy to maximise his game efficacy.

A greenkeeper at one of the Robina courses, Brayde passes luchtimes in a deck chair in a steep-walled bunker on the 9th thinking of girlfriend Tenille. Meanwhile father Brian, of the football religion, attends to game planning for the weekend - he is religious in his match attendance. The Palmer family has been a great pickup for Broady.
