Yeh, check the birth year again. Connor is just off the training wheels yet commands respect from his team mates and opponents alike.
Connor joined Broady in 2014 after a 60 game career at Carrara juniors. He had one game in the U/16 Div 2 side, slotted 4 and was promoted to Div 1 and finished with 12 games that year. In 2015 he played Div 1 U/17s winning we know not what.
The year 11 student made the AFL draft his dream and decided that he could cop the seniors at 16 - he treads in some interesting footseps in that regard, the most recent being Lachie Weller. A stand out in pre-season Connor has goal kicking skills to match the best and will gain confidence as he plays alongside seniors, to make his own plays, indeed to be a target for our blokes. He presents well as a lead up forward, has a good pair of hands and can jump. And importantly is prepared to mix it with one and all.
Loves the game with a passion (not sure Dad does just yet?). Besides his studies which he hopes will eventually take him to an Exercise Science degree, Connor enjoys kite surfing and checking his pulse to ensure he is living the dream. Watch this bloke.
