Carl Barrile

Affectionately known as Garden Gnome, Carl continued the family tradition at Broady (his Dad coached the seniors in 1985) as did his son Joey - now running around with Cooly. He reckons he played in the Dyer mold: where ever the ball was!  Can't figure out exactly when he played but he started in the juniors and put time in the Colts, Magoos, Seniors and OBs and won a B&F somewhere along the way. He must be from another universe because he remembers "7 flags in a row" as his best all time memory. May have been in succeding years as a junior?.

His best ever individual performance is not abusing umpires at Joey's games, which he still watches. Loves his footy does the gnome.
